In order to access a person's emergency information, two things are required. The unique ID and the PIN.
The unique ID can be found on the card/device when looking at the online profile. The unique ID is the 6-digit number at the end of the online profile (e.g.: helptag.co.za/info/123456) Some devices also have a QR code that you can scan. Most of our products make use of the tap function whereby you can use your phone to tap on the device and it will automatically enter the unique ID for you. This will automatically populate the unique user ID.
The PIN can be found on the device itself. Some devices might have a grey box which you need to scratch to reveal the PIN.
The information supplied is all entered by the end-user. There are no integrations with any medical systems.
